This index is used for “Sustainable Management”, a product designed for long-term investment based on SOMPO Asset Management its own unique active index structured by approximately 300 stock composites whose initiatives toward ESG(environment, social and governance) are recognized to be outstanding. Members of the “SOMPO Sustainability Index” are reviewed every year in accordance with the evaluation results of “Bunanomori Environment Survey” and “ESG Management Survey” conducted by SOMPO Risk Management Co., Ltd.. Unipres has been selected again this year, following last year’s selection in recognition of its ESG initiatives. Unipres Group adopted its Basic Policy for Sustainability in April 2022 to promote our sustainability management. At the same time, we established the Sustainability Committee to build a promotion system to further strengthen our efforts based on this policy.
