April 13, 2022 Company Name: Representative: Contact: TEL: Universal Entertainment Corporation Jun Fujimoto Representative Director and President(TSE STANDARD Code: 6425) Toji Takeuchi Executive Officer Corporate Planning Office +81-3-5530-3055 (switchboard) (Progress in Matter of Disclosure) Notice of Commencement of Operation of Online Gaming for Domestic Philippine Market Universal Entertainment Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) hereby announces that having obtained conformance of its online gaming services through simulation tests for the proper collection of casino taxes and licensing fees, anti-money laundering and other systems and through the verification of compliance with various casino regulations, and having completed its implementation period for the test operation, etc. of said services, TIGER RESORT, LEISURE AND ENTERTAINMENT, INC. (hereinafter referred to as “TRLEI”), which operates the OKADA MANILA integrated resort (IR) facility in the Philippines, commenced a soft launch of its online gaming at that facility in April 2022 for selected patrons located in the Philippines. TRLEI intends to commence a full launch of its online gaming operations to all registered patrons located in the Philippines in mid April 2022. As the Company announced in the “NOTICE CONCERNING APPROVAL ON ONLINE GAMING” dated April 26, 2021, TRLEI had obtained approval from PAGCOR (Philippines Amusement and Gaming Corporation) to conduct online gaming for the domestic Philippine market at OKADA MANILA using table games and electronic gaming machines (hereinafter referred to as “EGM”). Details of this matters are as follows. 1. Overview Category Number in Operation Table games 8 tables (As of April 13, 2022) Remarks Currently: 6 baccarat and 2 roulette tables Expect to increase up to 16 tables (14 baccarat and 2 roulette) by the end of April 2022 80 machines Expect to increase up to 150 machines by the end of April 2022 EGM (Notes) 1. Online gaming cannot be played from outside of Philippine national borders. 2. The number in operation may fluctuate based on various factors. 2. Future Outlook This matter will contribute to the consolidated business performance of the Company for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022. The Company will promptly provide notice of any items requiring disclosure if and when they arise in relation to this matter in the future.
