(the “Company”) established an internal investigation committee (the “Committee”) to investigate the incident of embezzlement by an employee, who was dismissed on disciplinary grounds as of March 11, 2022, of its domestic consolidated subsidiary (the “Incident”). The Committee, chaired by the Company’s director (Chairman of its Audit & Supervisory Committee), has then been working to identify the facts and the causes of the Incident, with the assistance of external attorneys and CPAs. Today, the Company received the investigation report from the Committee. The Company takes the outcomes of the investigations seriously, and is committed to take necessary measures based on the proposals made by the Committee to prevent similar incidents from occurring.
