(the “Company”) today announced the release of the Morinaga Group’s “Integrated Report 2021”. The report is designed to help stakeholders gain a deeper understanding of the Morinaga Group through the provision of integrated financial and non-financial information and data. Details are as follows. 1. Overview of “Integrated Report 2021” Following the formulation of its new corporate philosophy, on May 20, 2021 the Company published its long-term “2030 Business Plan” and its three-year “2021 Medium-Term Business Plan” (covering the period from the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022 through the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024). “Integrated Report 2021” provides information about the Morinaga Group’s mission (Purpose) as set forth in its new corporate philosophy: “The Morinaga Group will continue to create healthy foods that can be enjoyed beyond generations, thereby bringing smiles to the faces of people around the world now and in the future.” It also includes a message from the Morinaga Group president about efforts aimed at realizing the Group’s 2030 Vision: “The Morinaga Group will change into a wellness company in 2030.” In addition, the report provides information on a wide range of other topics including newly identified material issues, sustainability initiatives, medium- to long-term business strategies, and the establishment of a business foundation to underpin the implementation of these business strategies.
